Surviving Minnesota!

Nope this is a different one. I see... She is my only duck I have left! I sold my Muscovys to some crazy chicken person from the Bethel area this spring

@MinnesotaNice

Careful, Holm.....you may need a trio of Muscovy ducklings one of these years and I may have to say no! Lol

What's up with all the cats? Do you need an intervention?

Well, I didn't get a buck this past weekend. I saw plenty of does come through and plenty of evidence of buck activity. The boys were being shy I guess. I may try to make it out another day or two. The weather was absolutely amazing, so I was happy just to get out in the woods. I was really hoping my Grandpa would have seen something come across his stand, but no such luck. He turned 89 this year and I never know when he'll hang up his trusty 1952 Winchester rifle.

@duluthralphie , your mice are doing great. They say hello.

Well, we don't hunt, but many of our neighbors do, and once their freezers are full, they start giving it away! Right now I have the meat from a 200 lb, 10 pointer buck sitting in coolers on my back porch waiting for processing tomorrow. :D

I keep telling people, those white eggers are b**sh** crazy birds! They can't be as bad as Polish though. OMG, they scream bloody murder when you touch them! LOL

Thanks for sharing the pics, MinnesotaNice. Now, go take care of that baby before I come up and steal him!

That is very sad for the family who lost their home. Hopefully, the community and insurance will help them get back on their feet. It is sad for the loss of their pets, but also good it was only the pets and no people died. I like to leave our dogs outside while we are gone and I think about "what if", I would be beside myself if my puppies were killed that way.
