Surviving Minnesota!

Looks like I am going to be making a trip up to Brainerd soon... Triplell is selling her Cochin bantams.... Looks like I am not done with Cochins

BUT they are beautiful birds that should produce some good SQ birds!

Good morning Klop. Have anything fun planned for today?

Indeed! Half day at work then this afternoon I'm having gravel delivered for the approach to my new garage, processing a fridge full of venison quarters (summer sausage yummy) and maybe having a friend over for some trap shooting

Need to paint the inside of my new coop tonight too

Mom used to feed them . I have not seen them much . Lots of geese now I have thought of a game or fish type feeder with timer Just trying to get Ralphie going . Neighbors make sure the geese spend their flightless molt on the bigger lakes They make a mess of mowed lawns They love to graze . I will give the neighbors enough to talk about as it is .

Ralphie no need for Swede signatures . My great grandmother was a Swede born and raised in Sweden . My great Grandfather was a Swede citizen . That part of Germany was Sweden when he was born and raised . Sweden was just across the bay there on they baltic . The young men of both countries seem to have visited the girls across the bay . None were as pure German or Swedish as they thought they were .

You had me worried on the ducks. I was speechless.

As far as your pedigree goes,,,,,Well,,,,,,It's a good thing you had a great grandmother. I am thinking your Great Grandfather could make you a Pollock. Judy claims to have some "German" mixed with her lessor Scandinavian blood. However, 40 years ago her Grandpa and I were talking and he was talking about his heritage. He said his family came from the part of Germany that is now known as Poland.

He was a reasonable and smart man, he admitted he was actually a Pollack. Judy seems to think she can hide her Pollock side by claiming to be Norwegian/German. When we all know she is really Lessor Scandinavian/ Pollock..

I am thinking you are trying to hide you Polish side Jerry! Think about it, practicing swan dives off your roof is the kind of thing we would associate to Pollock's or FInlanders......

Good morning everyone!
Took care of the birds I already had 4 eggs which is surprising at 6 am for my slackers.

I went to go spray Sneaks wound, so i got a bucket of feed. I have to walk through the corrals where all the cows are right now. At first they were unsure of the bucket and then they were having a grand old time trying to grab it from me as I was trying to get away from them

We were going to keep this calf since she was born late anyways, but she is a b---- and so snakey its ridiculous.

I want my dad to give me this Baldie. Her names Betsie Sue, partially because it rhymes with her tag number which is 2. Her heifer calf averaged 640 pounds yesterday

I would see if you could get the cow who raised the b----. I really like that cow

She sure did do a good job on that heifer... Do you know what bull that heifer was out of?
