My mom and brother are going to the Game Breeders swap.  Brother is taking his American Show Racers along to sell and I might send some silkie juveniles along.  Unfortunately I'm stuck working all weekend.  Its a big dart tournament at work and people have been drunk since yesterday afternoon.  They are there til sunday night.  Most have alcohol up in their rooms too so bar staff can't seem to regulate much.  I gotta try to be nice. 

Sounds like my mom's side family reunion last year... one guy was drunk when he got there and drunk when he left 3 days later. I wish you luck

Today as well, but only one made it to lock down. And it piped sometime today. In first picture u can see it.

I am astounded to people's lack of terminology or common sense or what it is. It blows me away.

Here is something I get very often:

The set up I have a Boy and a Girl born on the same day. The boy is short and blonde. The girl is tall and brunette.

Acquaintance: "Oh so they're twins?!"

Me: Yes.

Acquaintance: "Are they identical twins?"

Me: Umm...No.... One is a boy, One is a Girl. They are fraternal. (Also thinking in my head hair color, and other obvious differences in looks)

Acquaintance: "Oh that makes sense, I guess."

Me to myself. (I guess)

I mean I didn't do very well in college genetics. I've shared my story of average grades. But come on....

When our boy/girl twins were born I got a lot of "Well they sure aren't identical." brown hair/eyes and blond/blue eyes I was more like umm they are not even the same sex!

I was a busy beaver yesterday, I mucked out both sections of the main coop, worked in the pole barn. Let the kittens out to play...


The last item might have been an error. As much as they seem to like me holding them and petting them. They truly do not like me. They are running around the shed and will not get more than 3 feet from me. I am thinking they will be semi-feral cats.


Nice day today too, I hope to get some stuff done. If I can get some help from the neighbor, I want to test birds for Ai today.
