Forgot to say that I lost a baby last night. Woke up at 3 last night and boom there it was lying there in the brooder... And its the one I hatched... My wee baby... Everyone else is happy and healthy though!

Really? I don't doubt you but I thought you were east of the banana belt and it is just beginning here. Its looks like we are going to get hit pretty head on.

Came back from walking the dogs - about 3:30 and up walk two hens back from a walk-about. Little gippers. So back up to 20.

BC - so do I still let them free-range when I have already seen the eagle fly? It sure was pretty. Ralphie - it was about eye level with me while I sat at the table and it flew along the river going up river.

Ivie I am north mostly and a bit west of the BB, the weather has passed
