Surviving Minnesota!

Holy bears! Yes we have a den just up the river on the St. Francis. Coons, skunks and the birds. So you like, free-range when you are home for the day? I had been running a few errands while they were out but I don't want to be careless and ask for trouble. I have plans to extend their uncovered run around the back of the garage and along side the sunny side. Just a simple fence that I can put in.

It has been windy here all day, along with ice and snow. No power outages here yet. If the power goes out my dad says we will bring the chicks up and put them by the fire place, anothet reason I'm glad it's our main heat source.
I just got out from track we did our 13 laps and stretches for warm up a "relay" my friend and I got with the 2 biggest kids on the team

, we didn't do to bad but still had to sprint 5 down and backs. We then went and did an upper body workout.

Yes, I try and do errands early in the day while they are supposed to be laying eggs so when I get home they can free range.

Thanks everyone. It is the chick that I had been calling a brat.... I do have a video to upload of the darn thing. Maybe it are something it shouldn't have? I noticed two lady bug wings in his cage but that's it.
