Surviving Minnesota!

EVERYBODY STAY SAFE!

Ralphie glad you and Judy are safe :hugs !how far along are those eggs? I found embryos can live for almost a day without heat but they will have a delayed hatch which stinks. I hope you get your power back soon!

Storm missed us. Super strong winds and waiting for snow now! I have to run out and get eggs still... Forgot to bring a carton out with me earlier... Wish me luck...

@duluthralphie
 can you run up to runnings or menards or Home depot and grab a generator? just for the incubators?

Knowing Ralphie I am sure he has one? But IDK if he would want it running in his house or out in the rain?

I must have breezed in and out of the coop yesterday. Saw the two Ameraucana eggs and went back up to the house. So today. Lo and behold there were two Welsummer eggs. (and one buried BLRW egg) and a Lav and Blue Ameraucana egg! I love all my colors! Patsy had quite a bit of blood streak on her first egg. It was good sized for a pullet egg...I mean a good large egg. Not Medium....or small.

So glad Patsy Cline is pitching in. She had a bloody comb a couple days ago. Junior and her are rookies at the chicken romantical stuff. She'll figure it out. Still snow locked....but the snow barricade is shrinking

I got a chocolatey color the other day too! No clue who laid it! I suppose I will know if it hatches. Also a pretty little "Olive" colored egg that I sent home with Mom of many. I call it Olive but some people might think it's green. It's the darkest green I have ever got before!
