It's amazing what u can accomplish when u get up early. Chores done, church done, 2 loads laundry done, child picked up from her babysitting job. And it's only 8:15......scratch that. I forgot to set clicks ahead...all the good thoughts about productivity squandered by stupid daylight savings.

Good morning!

We are under a winter storm warning today and going to get hit with up to 9" of snow. Looks dreary so far but not a flake yet. I work from 2-midnight today and its a 30 mile drive each way so hoping it stays south of us again.

I went to New Ulm yesterday and it was packed with people. The pigeon auction was nuts. They were able to get about 1200 of this breeder's pigeons up here. Some really nice birds, some unbanded breeder type birds, and some junk with dq's. I saw prices go $2.50 to $10 each on ALOT of the birds. Of course every breed I was slightly interested in went for $25-60 a bird. I had to get to work so I didn't even hear the last half of them. I had a lot of self control and came home only 5 Muscovy hens that I went for. The swap section wasn't huge... ALOT of people looking to buy stuff, but just not many sellers there. It was cold, but thank god the coliseum was heated.

My friend from WI posted pics from the big Fond Du Lac swap. Well over 1000 people through the doors and I think most of the poultry and ornamental bird sellers went over there.

Haw many chick sellers were there? I knew I wanted to be there, BUT I just was too worried about my birds. I had saved a bunch of DOMs from the previous week to take there too. So many people came up and asked for my card for doms this spring... Darn....

I should have been there....... What did you buy?

Why not keep the clocks like they were? I get use to getting up and this ruins it. I like getting up early in the summer, not winter. Obviously, this was made for city people to get in more golf or something stupid and not for us.

It felt like I got up late. Then I had the take care of the clocks because men can't do that.

You must not understand what exactly is woman's work and what is man's work......If you need a complete list just ask me. I am always happy to help. That's on the man's list helping with advice....

See? My philosophy is that there really isn't a thing I can do about day-light savings. No control on my part what-so-ever.

So with that said I would like to point out the fact that men cannot open the dishwasher to put there glass in. THAT is a worthy complaint that my 'whining', or sighing may be able to change . . . .

What????? My clock says 9:10!! Its after 10! NO NO NO NO....

I put eggs in the incubator until 10 last night, took a 3 hour nap, put more eggs in the incubator and slept in and the day is shot.


Judy obviously forgot to do the woman's work today before leaving for work...

Why pick on the innocent, I am sure your DH only did whatever you perceive as a misdeed to make you into a bigger and better person... Do you need Ralphie's Marriage counselling service?
