Surviving Minnesota!

Not to belabor the banana belt query, but... are we talking a belt roughly across the state, or a small vertical-ish belt of area? Our new place is near the Nowthen/Ramsey border. Should I plan to grow bananas and pineapples?? :p
I'm in Nowthen, welcome to the banana belt! You must be very close to me...

I am recovering but recovering is much harder than it was 20 years ago.
Better question. . how is your wife surviving? Did Eileen fly in to help her take care of you? How are the two of them getting along? :lau

No, in all seriousness I hope your feeling better :hugs

I may or may not have grabbed a hold of poison ivy with both hands when I was mowing... I'll leave that right there.
Oh noooo! Poison ivy is miserable! Hope you didn't grab anything else with those hands lol.
Be careful now Ralph y don't like rash talk. :lau:lau:lau:lau:lau:lau:lau

Gone are the days when you people competed to be the first to post each morning. Now I have to find other ways to amuse and educate myself.
It is very foggy here this morning, but the weather guru's say it is warming to near 80 with sunshine today. The chickens are ready for some sunny conditions.

Good Morning Chickeners . . . .
Yep - no fruit has 'falled' on my head - yet - I think. Or is it that I think? Whatever. Goin to the ortho surgeon this a.m. I am positive I have carpal tunnel. I say that because then the dr. can prove me wrong and there will be a simpler solution to this problem.
EVERYTHING takes longer now than it did twenty years ago Ralphie. And adjusting to that is a problem.
DH got the conditional building permit for Aitkin to get the sewer septic and drain field in. :celebrate Movin ahead. The building was spose to go in starting September but that guy has a lull in business because someone else dropped out and wants to begin the first of August. :ya When things finally fall in place they certainly move fast! I have my happy man back! Business has been brisk and now both project managers know what they are doing. Its good! Alittle less pressure.
Gonna do the coop work this afternoon. Section off the large coop so the GLW can move over there. Clean the little coop so the RIR and her eggs (maybe they will hatch today) can move into those digs.
I am the Aitkin widow again this weekend. He went up last night to remove the few trees on the drain field and prep that for creation.

I know Ed! I just brought up that conversation last week too. somewhere around the 2440's. It was a fun competition for a while.
