EJB, As much as I hate to say it. I think you might be right. I have tried to not look at "bad" in people. I have seen enough of that for a few life times.

I believe my SS last your were taken by a 2 footer.... 95% sure. These were some of my best show birds. I even have a 70% feeling who the culprit was.

There were around 40-50 Cream legbars in the pen, about half were whites. They do have a value, but only to people like me, The rest were Appletini's, PC, SS and EEs. Some were good quality. One or two might have been show, it was my "maybe" pen.

So sorry Ralphy. People are terrible. It makes sense though since their is no trace of the predator.

Omg. This is terrible. My husbsnd thought I may be going overboard cause I put master locks on all of the entry ways into my coop, but... it is terrible to say, but people seem to be nuts now a days. Always messing with stuff that isn't theirs. I just don't know what to think any more. A couple of years so my cousin and her husband got robbed of some calves. They never caught the people... terrible. That happeneed near the french lake\Southaven area.

Ralphie, you may think about placing a large sign at your driveway entrance. Something like : This property is under the protective monitoring of the firm Remington & Winchester ! We have a skidsteer for disposal of varmint carcasses !!
