We had just a dusting of snow over night and not any significant amount in the immediate forecast. Those to the S may get some accumulation ?
Like Holms. I am not a fan of horns on cattle, but in Rodeo country they are in demand for the roping activities. That makes them marketable there and in good demand I believe.
The photos of poultry and cattle are much enjoyed and so feel free to keep them coming.
Ralphie, can you say Global Unwarming !? Perhaps the earth is warming, but there is no evidence to confirm scientifically that man has caused a material influence to it. The earth has experienced much more dramatic warming and cooling events over time than we are currently subject to. A big difference is at those times there were no sinister political types attempting to use it to their advantage.
This winter across to country is a demonstration to the fact that most of these weather prophets are charlatan's. My chickens are going to lead a protest in favor of the return of Global Warming !

especially about the sinister political types..Recently I have seen just how sinister they really are........

If I can get the gumption to do something today instead of stare out the window in disbelief..... I will set eggs,,,,,,maybe

I ran out of trays so I will be setting eggs too... I’m going to have more chicks than I know what to do with...

My trays have all been filled! So I will be setting those... I do have some Turkey trays but I don’t think I’m going to be using those for anything more than storage...

I have found a little joy today! my all knowing bossy cell phone is not always right! I just got an alert at 9:15am saying snow would begin at 9:20 am....

That little Bstd* got it wrong!! It had started snowing well before 9:15!!! Piece of junk, I knew it!

Good Morning. Short night of sleep last night. Not really looking forward to driving these horrendous roads. They were slicker than snot last night.

Someone needs to babysit Mother Nature and endure she takes her meds....this is ridiculous.

Although my faith in humanity was restored last night. I went to visit my Dad who was having a rough day after surgery, I left their place around 7:30pm and by 7:50pm I was calling my brother for the phone number for the nearest tow company. I slid or got sucked into the ditch. Within minutes I had multiple people offer to help. And I was back on the road again. What should have been an hour drive turned into a 2 hour 10 minutes drive home. Let’s hope it is another 20 years before I try that again.
