Surviving Minnesota!

Ralphie maybe I’ll have to come over for a weekend and you can teach me how to fish. All we are catching is these junk fish. Not even kidding this is all we have caught.

Morning . Blizzard is over . Not sure on offical total of snow but about 6 inches on truck . With the wind we had it blew around a lot . Roads are slick .

The sun is shining brightly here, but it is a little brisk up here North of the Banana belt this morning.
Holm's new wheels already ? You must be from the right side of the tracks for that to happen so fast. It would appear from the photos that you need to find a new lake or you are attempting to keep Ralphie from using his new house on the one you are fishing ? Although I doublt that you would give Ralphie a bum heifer ?

Agreed - my kid would be waiting for a new set of wheels.

Holms you should really figure out where the fish are biting I have a husband and son who are chomping at the bit to locate some good ice fishing.

We had a productive holiday weekend, I scored about 50% of the Christmas gifts on Black Friday after 3 am as I will not shop on Thanksgiving!

We set up all the breeding pens, 3 large fowl buff Orpington, a few large fowl buckeye, and a few bantam pens including buff Orpington, black Orpington and buckeyes.

This is our first year breeding bantam sized chickens any advice would be greatly appreciated. Presently, the bantam black Orpington are on feather fixer as the pullet is finishing up a molt but she has been laying eggs for about 2 weeks, the yolks are super strong and dark, I am considering leaving them on feather fixer through the breeding season. Thoughts?
