View attachment 1600157 View attachment 1600158 View attachment 1600159 We had a productive holiday weekend, I scored about 50% of the Christmas gifts on Black Friday after 3 am as I will not shop on Thanksgiving!
We set up all the breeding pens, 3 large fowl buff Orpington, a few large fowl buckeye, and a few bantam pens including buff Orpington, black Orpington and buckeyes.
This is our first year breeding bantam sized chickens any advice would be greatly appreciated. Presently, the bantam black Orpington are on feather fixer as the pullet is finishing up a molt but she has been laying eggs for about 2 weeks, the yolks are super strong and dark, I am considering leaving them on feather fixer through the breeding season. Thoughts?
