I’m hiding anywhere warm!

Anyone have good idea to keep bantam cockerels busy? And by busy I don’t mean extra curricular events that involve pullets. I have a black Orpington pullet who will not hop down from her perch due to his exponential amount of testosterone in his system! She even quit laying on me.
Ideas ? Anyone?

Is there only 1 pullet in with him? If it were me I would just seperate them and AI them. Or if you have anothet pullet put her in too so the one isn't getting all of his attention

I just got back from buying chicken feed . We have some sunshine here . First time in about a week .

I am enjoying the 70* weather very much. Especially when I get stuck in the goat shed for an hour because the latch pull breaks.

Does anyone here have goats? If so, how do you keep them away from wilted oak leaves in winter, which are now the only edible things around and apparently very tempting to them small demonic troublemakers? I know a few are okay, but they shouldn't be filling up on them.

That’s exactly why I don’t use roosts. The females will hide from an overly rambunctious rooster up there all day. I have tossed some scratch in the shavings to keep them busy... Seems to help.

It must be nearly 20*F. Night temps aren't dipping into the negatives much yet, so I am thankful for that. My toes were cold enough already!
