Please be careful!!Opps, My last post might have been seen as a taunt or challenge by Mother Nature, it is snowing here now.
I hope this does not ruin my pans to drive out on a frozen lake and drill holes in the ice all around my vehicle. I know the thought of this will drive the resident Southies crazy.
We are home from fishing...We never fell through the ice.
There was no road plowed onto the ice so we had to walk out. I knew I should have brought the ATV. Fishing with the WW is like fishing with a 3 year old...Shhhhhh Never tell her that...
She is too busy on her iphone, or drinking egg nog or yakking to pay attention to the fishing...
We had a good time though. We caught a nice northern and some small sunnies and a mess of crappies... So we are happy.. We should have stayed longer...BUT some one in trying to reduce the amount of weight in the sleds, opted for 2- 1 pound propane canisters instead of a 20 pound tank...BIG MIstake,....
The crappies were just hitting heavy when the cylinders went dry....I was the one that thought 2 small cans would be enough. It might have if the wind wasn't blowing at 90 mph from the north. My tip ups were blowing over in minutes.. I cleaned them about every half hour.
We are going out again tomorrow, We will be using a full tank instead of little cans for heat. Also the dog will be staying home. She whined about being cold the whole day...I told her Labs were suppose to be cold weather water dogs. She did not seem to care.
Judy took pictures because that was more fun than fishing for her...I think....BTW she witched because I caught more fish than she did,,,I wonder why?
Yeppers..You sure can...Which lake can I send Austin to bother you at tomorrow?
