Surviving the Heat!

It seems there is a mega heat wave everywhere! I was wondering if you can give your chickens energy drinks, not anything as strong as monster, but more like propel, or gatorade, or even powerade,

They make speciality formulated eletrolytes just for Chickens. Most Tractor supply and farm co-op stores carry it. Just mix with water and serve.

I don't think people sport or energy drinks would be very good for chickens. However, your local feed store should have an electrolyte formula that is actually designed for them. It comes in powder forma nd you mix it with their water.

If your going to use a Electrolyte use either of the two below. You should be able to get the AgriLabs at any good feed store.
