suspected ear lobe infection

My dear fluffy who is a silkie has and earlobe infection I guess.it's on both side and feels hard.after looking through the net..I suspect it's an infection that could be cured by antibiotics..but I called the vet to book an appointment and because here in Singapore not many keep chooks and the consultation fees for my fluffy was $300-$500 .just consultation. that's too much of an amount to pay for consultation thus I decided to follow my local pet stores advice.she recommend me to use this. Any help or comments will be greatly appreciated
