I have a black orpington (approx 18 mths old) who has steadily lost weight despite being wormed. I have a small backyard flock and one of my Barnevelders passed away from Mareks about 6 months ago. This hen has gone downhill really rapidly, she can not stand up, lying on her side, is doing watery poos with whole undigested grain in it. Her head is twitching back and forth, like she has vertigo (is dizzy). I have her under a heat lamp and have been giving her Ornithon and a probiotic. I don't think she'll make the journey to the nearest bird vet, about 50kms away. Is there anything else I can do for her? Can Mareks be cured, or will she need to be culled ?
Thanks for your help.

...too late she died tonight, poor thing. I told my daughter she's in heaven now scratching and pecking in a lovely green field with lots of other hens having a great life.
