Sussex gal or guy?

at 12 weeks of age you wouldn't really be seeing the saddles breaking through the rump feathers yet that is around 13-15 weeks of age but give that till at least 20 weeks (even then some still don't show till later) given the size of the comb and the wattles along with how red and the age i say you have a cockerel in the making and if you can keep he will be a nice looking rooster.

The Roos in this batch were "supposed" to be dinner. But I have a feeling Ill be keeping most of them LOL

I "wanted" to keep one.... but I have no idea how Ill pick.

Yes, the one with the smaller pale comb is a girl. The one with the larger pinker comb is a roo. That's my bet! My SS roo started crowing about 7 weeks.

I had 4 roos. Planned on keeping only one too. Ended up deciding to keep the friendlier one. He's 12 weeks old now and still sweet. Hoping he stays that way! Actually tried to sort them by the "Standard of Perfection", just got confused and just ended up with the nicest guy.
