I just tgot back home. It was cool to meet the guy who owned eggcartons.com. I think I saw chickerdoodle but was to shy to say hi. I came home with just one bird which was an astralorp but I really wanted the madarin ducks. Maybe next year

I just got home with an empty cage, YAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! Luckily for me chickerdoodle bought all my hens and then graciously took my roo too!!!

Saw warriorchild's daughter and chickenlady!

Lots of loud roosters in the show building!!

All in all a nice Saturday morning with the DH!

I am upset that my australorp is not as sweet as I thought. Very skittish and flighty and oh yah NOISY! Hopefully she will calm down but yah never know. I really wish I got to meet some BYC members. Did you see that jersey giant roo on the top? he was HUGE!!!

Hypno, I had three BAs last spring and decided to sell them as they were all flighty and loud! Hope yours works out better!

Those roosters were crazy loud and HUUUUUUGE! Some had feet the size of my hand!

It was a fun experience anyway!

I thought I saw you too, Stevie but I wasn't quite sure.

I came home with 11 hens total! A friend of mine ended up falling in love with the rooster mommahen gave me and took him home to her girls. It was a good thing too, because I was starting to get attached to him! I ended up with four modern banty hens (from a BYCer), three other hens (also from a BYCer!), and mommahens four beautiful birds. I am definitely a happy camper! And I spent less money than I would have if I bought chicks.

I had a good day! I got to see a few people I haven't seen in awhile and got to meet a few new people!
