My wife took one look at that duck and wants it. I don't think you can have just one duck, can you? I thought they were a very social animal. We always had at least 2 at a time and usually 4.

Silkies, Silkies!! Here are a couple of pics I took yesterday of babies. They are soooo adorable.

These are a couple of the older ones. They are going to be gorgeous!

I have a few more babies, younger than these, I hope to have time to take more pics today and post them tonight.

Hope to see lots of BYC'ers at the swap!!!

Silentrunning, I do have a muscovie duck that just hatched today that can be a friend to that litle duck. That gray duck came out of a blue egg. It's a very friendly duck. Every night when I come in from work, I take out the duck and play with it and it folows me around. Ideal for a pet duck. I didn't mention the 'scovie before as it wasn't hatched yet.

Just hatched, #20 on my RIR, still have about 10 left to hatch. I will be bring the ones that hatch today and are fluffy dry for the swap tomorrow.

Edited to add: Anyone interested in Buff O roos? I think I have 3-4 from my early March 09 Hatching. The eggs came from a BYC member and not a hatchery. I also have a rir roo in that group as well as one that is Jan 09 hatchling.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there drive safe.
