SW VA - big stock chickens

If anyone is interested, please let me know. I have WAY too many roos and I want to start with fresh chicks in the spring. Here's what I have:

11 big stock roos - 5 months to 1 1/2 yrs (also have an excellent 3 yr old roo)
6 big stock hens - 5 months to 1 1/2 yrs

Just curious, why are you getting rid of them? Are you not allowed to have chickens where you are?
