Swan's Rooster.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm not sure if I will get him a friend. I am lucky to have a lot of free time so I spend several hours a day just hanging out with him. He likes to sit in my arms or jump up on my shoulder. Do I really need to get him a friend if we spend so much time together? Dam I love this little guy! hahahahaha

I've kept lone birds in the past, I also have friends with lone house chickens as well. They do just fine as long as you spend a lot of time with them. Allow him to do chicken things...go outside, dust or sun bathe, etc....but if you give him enough attention, they can live long healthy lives. Make sure to feed him a balanced diet, a flock raiser feed that is lower in calcium.
