nice pictures uschicago. i was floating around there from 9-930. looks about the time you took the pics. was there much more of a turn out than the pics show?. i grew up in easton and sheep pasture was always on the feild trip list. even if you come from a distance and missed the show. the grounds are a nice gettaway,

i wanted to attend tomorrow's as well, but it looks like i may not be able to.
does anyone know of future swaps? it is just a bad weekend for me this time around!!
 
westford ma is always the first sunday of every month all year except july and august.

your flemish giants - they are amazing! what are they like? my nephew introduced me to them a few months ago, and i was captivated by them.

i can see when i move, a new furry friend is in my future. he has been trying to get me to buy one for a while.

that is unbelievable about the boy silkies - i loved him, and would have kept him, but the neighbors...you know
i will be sure to get more when i finally get my act in gear and move to a chicken friendlier location
i took in a roo that was in need of a foster mother, he was pretty beaten up by fellow roos. i think he is a silkie cross - all white with the silkie feathers, with a waddle and very small comb ,small feathers on his legs. slightly larger than the silkie i got from you, but no large than my hens
beautiful but also too noisy.
i need to place him, but i am not sure what to call him...
if anyone knows someone who would like him, he is free - i didn't pay anything for him
just a little tlc and he is now the first one roaring out of the coop in the a.m. and last in at nite.
very good at protecting the girls, which is so funny, cause he hid in the coop for the first month
