I read an article where a Girl Scout went to a city council meeting and presented them with the pros of having chickens. She convinced them and got the no chicken ordinance reversed. Also, look into local 4-H groups and Boy Scouts as well. Ask around and hopefully you can find a group with like-minded people.
Homeschooled student. A senior project. If they see youth showing interest, then they really need to listen up!
