I know I shouldn't have favorites but my Swedish Isbar chicks are so friendly. They have the best personality so far and love to be handled. I'm new to this breed and am loving it. I was wondering if this is norm and would love to see what to expect when they get older!

Don’t want to sound like a know it all negative Nancy but I don’t believe that’s an Isbar. I’ll toss up some pics of mine. Granted they don’t have a standard and I’m no expert but they come in blue black and splash. First pic is 4 blacks and a blue green fire Isbar. Second pic is one of each first import Isbar line from wabi sabi acres. Third picture is the closest resemblance to your chick I could find. Like I said I’m no where knowledgeable as some others on here, but it looks like something else to me. Still a great looking bird.

I do see some resemblance and could feather out and I be wrong. So just think of this as a suggestion not me saying they aren’t what you say they are.

I have two of them and they are similar in feathers but different in leg, beak, and comb color.

I believe one to be a male and one female. They are very different in color from the photos you posted of your birds. But I'm pretty positive they are both Swedish Isbars as thats what I payed for, but I guess we will have to wait and see if they lay a green egg. lol Im no expert as I've just started my coop. I will be sure to post more photos as they get older! Thank you for the photos and response.
