I asked this same question a couple of days ago. Here is the link to that post so you can read what others said. And some posted cute pics of there Sweds.

I
have two new ducks (3 and 5 weeks old) and I think one is a Swedish and the other a Swedish mix of some sort. I have noticed that at first they were very very scared and didn't like people coming around them. Now two weeks later I whistle and they come to the edge of the run for there treats. That might all be a regular duck thing but i am new to ducks so that is my experience with them so far. I am very excited to see my grow and see how they are going to be all grown.

From a search I found them to be a medium sized ducks, drakes weigh up to 8lbs and hens up to 7 lbs. Also they are very hardly birds, good foragers, and have a calm disposition.

Mine were very Spazzy as babies, but once they got older, they calmed down a lot. They loved to be sprayed with the hose.

They were (I had to get rid of them) medium to big ducks, beautiful, and they shine in the sunlight.

I have call ducks, which is why I had to get rid of the Swedish - my swedish drake tried to mate with any girly he got close to. Poor Call Duck girls

I had the black swedish - I liked them better than the blues I got in the same package. (got mine from Ideal)

i love my swedes check 'em out on my site i dont have alot of info about them yet but i just love them they are so calm and sweet not flighty or aggressive, but i do have some genetic info on there and i have some pics on there as well.....they are a medium duck my adult drake is smaller than my young pekin ducks and they are only 21 weeks old and he is 1 year and a half so they are good size but not huge they are moderatly quiet not as vocal as pekins or calls but not as quiet as my mallard the drakes are actually really quiet and the hens only really vocalize when i feed but the pekins we anything startles them they are quaking buffs are about the same if you are looking for another breed i highly recommend them

cool, thanks for the other thread i might keep a few of them (can always use a few more girls lol but the others will probably get sold since the runners are coming and I only have so much room. But I will raise them for a month or 2 and pick the ones my ds likes best probably.

I cant believe I missed that other post lol

they are adorable btw
