Build yourself a poop hammock or a wood tray for under the roosts and fill with granular PDZ. You clean it like a cat liter box. .. you'll love it!

Exactly what we have in all out hen houses. Poop tray is the wording we use, it deletes the ammonia smell and clumps up the poop. We've found 1/4 screen cleans out the big parts but we then use a smaller screen to filter out the smaller pieces. We add a bag every couple months as needed.
