Is this product safe to use for chicks? My ladies are 4 weeks old. And the weather here in the northeast has me waiting to move them outside, but even with daily cleaning of the brooder box it's just not enough.

I only use it on the poop boards, but lots of people here on BYC use it in their brooders with no problems. Personally I prefer the granulated over the more powdery stuff.
