Sweet PDZ

I have my husband talked in doing a pooper board. I went and got a 25 lb of PDZ. How much do I use and how often do I chance it.
Do I add any thing else with it.

I only use about an inch of coverage over whole board to make it easier to scoop out

Welcome to BYC! I know what PDZ is, but I've never used it. I've read that you should just use enough that it's visible (about 1-2 lbs. in the average coop), but I'm definitely not speaking from experience. You might want to peruse the PDZ threads at https://www.backyardchickens.com/newsearch?search=pdz I'm sure someone who is an experienced user there can help you. Good luck with your flock.

I've heard good things about PDZ that is keeps things dryer and smelling better but have no experience with it. I know they use it in horse stalls.
