sweet potatoes

I just read no potato peels-does that mean sweet potatoes too? I have given then raw and cooked a couple of times in the las few weeks...

Peelings and potatoes should be cooked. If you want to give them peels from them, toss them in a pan of water and cook for a few minutes.
Not sure if this is the reason why not to feed them raw taters, but they contain a certain amount of arsnic. Cooking takes that out of them (or we'd eat them raw too).

mine do eat the peels, and they eat them whether cooked or raw. Go figure.

There is always mixed feelings on potatoes and peels. I just stay away from feeding them that only because I feel...better safe then sorry if your unsure.
