Sweet Taters

Is it a OK to give our chickens cooked sweet potatoes? Or did I just kill our 4 girls? FYI the chickens loved 'em...

Sure, why not? They can pretty much have anything except high salt/fat, onions, avocado skins and chocolate. :]

I believe sweet tatos are fine as they are not in the nightshade family.

My chickens love them -- cooked at least.

When I give them the shriveled or pithy ones raw they generally ignore them and I have to just hope that they eventually compost into the litter.
