And yes, it is going to be quite a work-out!!! It was funny, I was actually worried the smoke alarm might have woke some of my neighbors!!! That thing is LOUD!!! But it didn't even wake my kids! They are some seriously sound sleepers!!!
I have not read through the entire thread because the last time I was involved with SCM I made this cake, made the dulce de leche, put it in coffee, spread it on bread and gained 20lbs!!!
honestly I adore it but can not have it in the house! one spoon at a time I will eat the whole can
but because no thread about this product is complete with out a recipe for Tres Leches cake and Alton Brown's recipe is as good as any I have ever eaten!
(if someone else has posted it I apologize but I really could not read through more than a few pages with out cravinga case of the stuff!!! and summer is coming so I do not want to put on anymore weight now)
this sweet cake is my second favorite (next to a really good devil's food)
I make it ONLY once a year ...but only if there is a LOT of company coming over because I will eat it all myself
