Sweetened Condensed Milk tastes so good

look above is this cake also called Tres Leches? just curious it is my favorite cake and I did not realize you guys were talking about this because you called it Three Milk ..but it means the same thing just in spanish ..check the Alton Brown recipe I am curious if it is the same thing? http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/alton-brown/tres-leche-cake-recipe/index.html

okay, now I have to add my favorite sweetened condensed milk recipe --

Lemon Creme

small can frozen lemonade concentrate (or use 1/2 of large can)
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 1/2 C. heavy cream

whip cream and set aside
combine frozen lemonade and sweetened condensed milk
fold in whipped cream

pour in large bowl to freeze -- cover tightly

___________________________________________________
serve this in tiny bowls with demitasse spoons -- smile modestly and tell everyone that it's your secret recipe --

I made my first Flan this weekend (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Creamy-Caramel-Flan/Detail.aspx) Recipe courtesy of Leah..and I boiled a can of SCM to use in place of the caramel. I haven't gotten to taste it yet because it has to set 8 hours but I did have caramel left over to eat with apples! I'm so excited!

I love Flan. I hope it turns out. The caramel was great. I boiled it for almost 2 hours. First time I ever did that too. BYC has created alot of firsts in my life lately!

I have never had flan...and for some reason I am frightened to try and make it

I can usually deal with food failure pretty well-just ask my last set of home-made caramel brownies

You know what else is delicious? Magic cookie bars.

It has a graham cracker crust, then that is topped with SCM, then you add some coconut flakes, chocolate chips, and some crushed nuts.

I've made them occasionally, but my DH dislikes coconut, so it's not good for me to be the only one eating them!

Oh yeah, she would put butterscotch chips AND chocolate chips on them->me drooling.
