I don't recommend heating chickens. Unless they are sick or young/not fully feathered, they don't need it. I've had a few hens with large straight combs over the years and none of them have ever gotten frostbite. Hens tuck their heads under their wings when it's cold. If you are worried about feet, give them a wide roost so they can fully cover their feet with their bodies.
