sweetgrass TURKEYS

I'd love to know where everyone is getting their stock. I bought a 6 each of 3 different breeds from Porter's. Love them, but I got mostly males, which happens, no one is at fault but God ;), I totally understand. Thing is I need more and they aren't shipping but their choice packs this year. I have sweet grass, Narragansett and royal palm. Thoughts?

These are lovely turkeys. Question though, what breeds are needed to create this color from scratch?
Turkey is the breed. The Sweetgrass variety was originally a mutation from a heritage Bronze variety. The genotype is b1b1 cgcg dd EE NN RR SlSl SpSp PnPn for males and b1b1 cgcg dd E- N- RR SlSl SpSp PnPn for females. The Royal Palm variety is b1b1 cgcg dd EE nn RR SlSl SpSp PnPn for males and b1b1 cgcg dd E- n- RR SlSl SpSp PnPn for females. If you could figure out how to get rid of the Narragansett (n) color gene from Royal Palms, you would have Sweetgrass.

If you have a Sweetgrass tom, you can make more Sweetgrass by breeding him to a Royal Palm hen. The Royal Palm hen cannot pass her Narragansett (n-) on to her daughters. Any female offspring will be pure Sweetgrass hens. Any male offspring will be phenotypically Sweetgrass but they will be carrying a hidden Narragansett gene. You will not want to use the males in your breeding program. Breeding the Sweetgrass hens back to your Sweetgrass tom will then produce pure Sweetgrass of both genders.

I just got a batch of started Sweetgrass turkey poults a few months old, and I love them! The picture under my name is of a tom that is currently with me.
Hi how old is the turkey in your picture? Trying to gage their growth rate but can't find much information on them.
