I have a hen, Golden Comet, just over one year old, who has been less enthusiastic about joining her sisters when it comes time for treats (ie chicken scratch, grass clippings, etc.), All of the others run, shove, jump and try to be the first to get something, this one just watches from wherever she was standing. A couple of days ago I separated her from the others and noticed that her crop felt "squishy". She has been apart for a couple of days now and the crop seems to be getting larger, but still feels like it is filling with water, even though she is not eating - or drinking - much.
Her poop is "diareaish" and mostly white in color. Other than the sluggishness and lack of energy she looks normal. Eyes are clear, no apparent problems breathing and moves around well - slowly; but normal looking.
Any ideas. All suggestions will be appreciated.
