Every now and then when I change the duck pools I find chicken eggs at the bottom, and I always wonder...

Yeah well, it was funny!

However, we make sure we never leave the cover off the pool anymore because I would really hate to have one of my chickens drown.

My Polish walked right though our pool fence and into my in ground pool the first day we got her. She flapped her wings like crazy and pulled her self out before I could get the pool gate open and get her. She's never ventured through the fence since then, she learned her lesson.

Wow. I definitely learn something new every day, I wasnt aware that chickens could swim at all!
