Switching Incubators - bad idea?

I have 2 Farm Innovators Still Air incubators WITH fans installed. Eggs came sooner than expected, so it’s what I had to deal with. One is okay, the other spikes up to 107 and down to 94. Humidity stays decent, as long as I keep on it. I have sponges in there. I’ve decided to just build my own incubator and try that out. However - eggs will be placed at different times (keeping them atleast 3 days apart.) Would it be a horrible idea to switch eggs to the better FI incubator for lockdown & hatch? Or should I build a second incubator for that reason?

If at lockdown, you can keep it above 98 and below 103, they'll probably be ok.
Whether you choose to build or use a flaky incubator is your call.
