Swollen abdomen in Runner Duck - Help

How is she today?
I had to be up and out by 4:30am, and when I came downstairs (she's indoors in a hutch with a small dark area for her nest and a chicken egg as some inspiration... lol), she was drinking water and "talking" to her son (we moved him to a nearby pen as he's an indoor duck).

No egg yet. She's currently home with my husband who is giving her a warm bath after her morning meds. She's floating and resting her beak in his arm.

She's not showing signs of even wanting to lay, other than making a nest of the nesting hay we gave her last night.

What else should I do?

What calcium did the vet give ya'll. I do know that Calcium Gluconate works to get the duck to have contractions to get the egg moving [via a avian vet] Just keep doing what you are giving her soaks and calcium. If she isn't acting in distress then just keep up with what your doing.

The vet gave us Calcium Gluconate. The injection was 10% and the oral supplement is 23% 2x a day. She's not in distress as long as she's on the anti-inflammatories.

Thanks for the support. Our little flock would be lost without her. The boys sit by the sliding glass door in the yard waiting for her to come back outside. Poor guys.

That's awesome We don't even have a vet that will look at poultry.
I spent 2 weeks calling. We were prepared to drive 2 hours north to UF, but they are no longer seeing ANY poultry due to the avian flu. Not even pets. I then spent an hour following the rabbit hole of vet referring vet referring vet until I found another chicken owner website with a Tampa vet referral... that is actually actively seeing ducks!

So. Stressful.

We're lucky our duck is in such good spirits, all things considered. We're going on day 3 since formal diagnosis... but much longer than that (approx 2 MONTHS) with her acting abnormal.

She's a tough duck. Thank you so so so much for your support.

Amanda (& Keisha, the duck)
