Swollen Cheek

My drake, Baby, has a swollen cheek. It’s only on his right side. He doesn’t appear to be in any pain, he’s eating, drinking and mating like usual. I just noticed it was slightly puffier than the left side. I don’t believe anything is stuck in his mouth and causing it to appear full. It’s just swollen right above where his beak is. Any ideas? I’m really worried.

There are a few options:
1. I don't know how cold is it for you, but best case scenario it's just a bug bite, and will go away
2: Infected sinus. That takes antibiotics to cure, and costs a bit of money.
Those are the most likely cases, there are more possibilities, but I might need some more info to narrow it down.
Feel the bump. Is it hard or soft?

It was cold for a few days but it warmed back up. So I suppose a bug bite is possible. I’m worried it might be sinus. It doesn’t feel hard. I feel his cheek bone below the swelling, but the bone feels the same on the other side. I have him inside right now and am trying to get him to dunk his head in some warm water. I might call the vet tomorrow.

It could be a sting bite, or an infection of the area due to debris entering either through the eye, or a puncture through the skin. If the area feels soft, I may try to lance it with a sharp sterilized needle, and drain the puss, apply an antibacterial ointment or cream and see if that does the trick. Or leave the area, and see if it goes away on its own. Sometimes they need antibiotics for these sorts of things if it doesn't resolve on its own.
