I have several young pullets, about 2.5 mos old.
The last few nights, when I have to manually move them all from roosting on top of their old coop (for the babies...) into the big coop, they all seem to have a swollen or full crop, to some extent anyway. Everyone seems to be pooping, they have been free range for about a month or more, so they're not new to grass.

That is normal. It should be empty the next morning.

If you are worried, then check it in the morning before you let them out and they have access to food and water. Its fine if it is full before bed but they should have a big pile of poo under them and an empty crop in the morning.

Thanks Y'all! That's kinda what I was hoping, but man, you start reading some of these threads and it's like getting on Web MD. You think you have hours to live! :lau
