Swollen Crop? Not sure

She passed away this morning, I have sanitized my coops not sure if it was parasitic in nature or not firzt time ever running into this but thanks for the advice I try and keep them healthy as possible and spouler my turkeys

The best thing I have found for impacted crop is separating the bird and giving it mineral oil through a syringe. Once you get the oil in the crop massage it lightly. Repeat every 5 or so hours until the crop is empty. In severe cases it could take 2-3 days. Just keep a close eye on them. Also make sure they have lots of water. In cases that have taken longer then a day to clear I have taken corn meal, oatmeal, and rice and ground it in my coffee grinder to a powder. Then mix it with water that has probiotics and electrolytes to make a watery paste. This way they get all the nutrients they need without the danger of making the situation worse. Hope this helps someone in the future and I am really sorry to hear about the loss of your birds.
