Swollen ear lobe? (Pictured) bite or infection?

Her comb isn’t swollen neither is the other side. She does look swollen on her neck. I live in Texas, no snakes around. She’s a back yard chicken. She’s staying in one area and when I try moving her she goes back to the same warm spot when she’s resting. She’s drinking water and she’ll eat but not her normal self. Shes usually right behind me when I’m outside. I see no ticks or bugs. I’m thinking a wasp stung her? The swelling isn’t hard but not soft more firm

How is she today?
Just to cover everything, have you looked inside her beak to make sure it's clear of mucous, sores or canker?

It could be from a Wasp sting. The swelling is not tooooo bad, but if she is not better or the swelling is worse and you think it's from a sting, you can give her a one time dose of Benadryl - 1/2 of a 25mg tablet.

You mention she is staying in one area, a warm spot. Does she lay eggs - when was the last time she laid an egg? When you approach her, does she make squealing or growling noises?
