Swollen Ear

Honestly I am not sure what a vet would do - most do not treat chickens, some will treat them but do not know what they are doing and then you have avian specialists - who of course do exotic birds. If I had to go, I would go to an avian. Antibotics - probably.


If she was mine, I would keep an eye on it. Of course I do not know what it is

and would post here hoping for someone to have had this problem.

Took her to the vet and ws informed it was a cancerous growth

No i think when the vet started to examine her the growth wouldnt stop bleedin and she died in the vet. My other 3 chickens r all fine apart from 2 of them being broody like everyone elses but that chickening. . . .

Another lesson for my daughter on life and death. . .
