Swollen Eye, Bubbles

Etta, My 7 month old Light Brahma had swelling around her eye and wouldn’t open it on Tuesday. I Quarantined her and rinsed it. She opened it and perked up some, but now she has bubbles in the eye. She is eating and drinking, but her eye looks awful. Point me toward treatment please?

I would get some antibiotics such as Tylosin, doxycycline, oxytetracycline, or enrofloxacin to treat her for a sinus infection. She might have MG or mycoplasma. This link and company sells several of those medicines:

Eggcessive, I see that you help others a lot. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge! I'm just waiting for our vet appointment so I can get a prescription for the antibiotic. No vet in my area can see her until Monday However, she is still eating and drinking and talking to me so I think she is going to be OK until Monday.

I think it looks better today, but we’re still going to the vet Monday so I can be sure she’s mending as well as possible. She is eating like I’ve never seen her eat! I’m wondering now if she’s been bullied and kept from the food. Time to get a ‘jail’ built for her reintegration.
