If you are up to giving an injection I would use Tylon 50. I have recomended it to several others just for the simple fact that it worked wonders with 2 of my birds so far. Most of your local farm stores should have it, it cost around $10.00 for a bottle. I had a turkey that had a respratory infection and looked HORRIBLE!! Both sides of her face were swollen and red, she could barely see and then the one eye totally swelled shut. I was told to give her a 1/4 cc injection, half of that on each side into the puff area. Then I waited 48 hours and gave her another. I was shocked, in a day or so after the second injection she was fine. I also had a young silkie attacked by a rat. One side of its face was swollen and it had blood on the top of its head. I washed it all up and then gave it an injection of about 2 tenths of a cc and in a couple days it was fine and running around. The swelling on the face went down very quickly. Just use a sterile needle and syringe, you can get those at the farm store too. Good luck. You dont need the oral antibiotics if you use this. It is more local and works much faster then trying to get them to drink the antibiotics. Jenn
