Swollen Eye

My 3 week old chick, has one swollen eyelid. The eye is milky white. No lesions, white pus or eye worms evident. Can anyone suggest what this might be? It is still mobile, eating and drinking.

Poor chick, It is difficult to say what it would be. They can even get a particle such as a grain of sand or bedding into the inner part of the eyelid, causing irritation and swelling. Check the eye best you can for a particle, and you can try flushing it out with eye dropper or needless syringe etc. monitor it closely. Even applying natural tears eye drops can be applied if need be for flushing and such
