Swollen Eye!

I have this 2 year old black ameraucana hen. I noticed she had swelling on the top of her eye yesterday when she was laying her egg. Today it is swollen all around her eye can anyone help me figure out if she’s ok? There is a little redness around her eye but it is mostly the regular skin color.

She might have gotten something in her eye like dust or what not. Usually when I see an eye issue I just put a litte Terramyacin on it and keep an eye on it. You can get a little tube from tractor supply. It really is great to keep on hand.

Can you look for a tick?
Good idea from @Sheissoblond to flush the eye and apply terramycin.

Yes I have 3 - 6 week old chicks but they are not with my hens. They have interacted a bit but they are not living together
