Swollen eye

Still looking for answers, anyone know what I can do to help my hen. Her eye is swollen, pale, and she is having a hard time seeing. What could be causing this?

Does she have mites?

General care is to flush the eye with saline, remove any debris or pus, then apply an eye ointment like Terramycin in the eye. Do this 2-3X a day.
