Swollen eyelids

Yes he has many other scabs on his crest/face/eyes/wattle. They have grew from that last picture. Which leads me onto my next topic. His eyes are officially so swollen he has gone temporarily blind. How on earth do I care for a blind rooster? He can’t see his food, or water, or di anything really. He’s a bit dim. If the actual pods doesn’t kill him, the fact he can’t see where to eat or drink might. Does anyone know how to care for a blind roo?
I've only had 1 hen that had an eye infection. But the Terramycin seemed to help the swelling within 24 hours. Hopefully you can get that quickly or some plain Neosporin.

We’ve figured out how to open his eyes now (salt water) so tube feeding is not needed anymore. He is very lethargic and sleepy when blind but will perk up and eat or drink when he can see. His eyes seem to swell back up and close again every through hours, so the salt water treatment must happen every few hours. It’s mostly working. I think he was just unlucky to get scabs on his eyelids, because my other hens with the same scabs just have normal eyes. I don’t want to deal with it infecting our other 7 chooks, any ways to prevent that?

Fowl pox is spread by mosquitoes. The scabs when they fall are also contagious for weeks. Are you using an antibiotic ointment in his eye? Terramycin, Erythromycin, and Neosporin are all good.
